arini masuk pelajaran baru iaitu ttg streamyx in a box @ SIB
SIB ni di kasi oleh TM dan dipasang sendiri oleh pembeli..
Modem yang digunakan Riger-lampu link merupakan lampu adsl..
harga pakej RM45 dan autopay bil slps 1 week bil akan dikira...itula pengetahuan yg aku tau pasal SIB....

FIREWALL

what is Firewall?

-fungsi utama pendinding api adalah mengawal inbound dan outbound dalam network traffic.

-inbound dan outbound -> apa sahaja yg masuk dan keluar dalam server or LAN dari network card

-firewall perlu untuk control sebaranf hubungan dengan network luar daripada network card

-kawal traffic dengan menggunakan rule allow n deny @ accept or reject @ allow or block

- menapis in dan out dlm network

- pengawal traffic -> allow / block- pelindung network

- juga digunakan untuk pc.

2. It is antivirus?
the answer: NO
Ada 2 jenis firewall:
*COMODO (bleh bertindak sbg firewall pada pc)
*Panda Gate Integra
*Fortigate

Setup Streamyx

1.pasang modem dgn sambungkan wayar line ke modem utk test signal ok ke tak...lihat pada lampu pada ADSL...tunggu sehingga lampu tu berhenti blinking..
klau masih blinking its mean:
i) network dia problem
ii) line x clear
iii) cable line rosak

2. sekiranya lampu ok.... pasang crip dgn sambungan yg betul
then tgk pada Network Connectionnya pastikan ip yg diterima adalah daripada modem itu iaitu 192.168.1.254 (ini adalah ip modem billion)
setup new connection dgn test menggunakan username n password sendiri dulu:
username: abina88@streamyx
password: xxxxxxx
create shortcut icon kat dpn desktop
disable dulu network streamyx tu then enable balik masukkan username n password customer i2 sendiri...then connect
masuk pada ip 192.168.1.254 set sbg PPOE/PPOA(client akn buat maintenance Bridge untuk kasi pada Telekom setlekan..
jika kluar network connect bermakna SUCCESS!!!!!

arini aku ikut my boss g setting streamyx...
semalam aku just tgk diorg setting streamyx n buat kat sekolah configure router utk GITN (Government Integrated Telecomunications Network) bagi projek schoolnet , arini aku kena buat plak....abis ar
mcm2 hal jadi...awal pagi dah nasib malang..mcm mana aku bleh tersandung kat longkang tu ntah la sampai tercium kereta idaman ku...Myvi...huhuhuhu....kasut plak hampir patah....
teruk ar kena condem first salah username second salah password...2 hal ni buat keje jadi lambat coz aku lembap n cuai..1 lagi perkara aku salah isi form..hmmm..apa nak jadi ngan HAZNITA BINTI OMAR!!!!!!
